Sponsored Spook - Fundraising for Ticknell Piece swings

Final call for any children who might like to come and take part in a Sponsored Spook fun run/walk tomorrow morning. We're meeting at the Ticknell Piece swings at 10.30 in Halloween fancy dress. Chocolate prizes for everyone who enters. Many thanks to those who have already donated to the JustGiving page. And thanks in advance to the children who are currently asking for sponsors and getting their costumes ready. See you tomorrow!!

It was great to see so many children having a fantastic time trick-or-treating on Ticknell Piece Road this evening. Don't pack away your costumes just yet! If you're free this Saturday at 10.30am, please come back to Ticknell Piece and join our 'Sponsored Spook'. We're raising money to repair our playground and it would be brilliant to have your support. Full details below and on the Events page. Hope to see you there.

If your children enjoy dressing up for Halloween, this is a plea to come along to a sponsored event happening at Ticknell swings on 5th November at 10.30am. The Ticknell Piece playground is in urgent need of repair and we're currently trying to raise some money to buy some new swings. The 'Sponsored Spook' is a fancy-dress run or walk (1km loop) open to all children and there will be a chocolate prize for every child who enters.
