According to a message from Cornbury: "I just wanted to let you know that pedestrian access for the event this weekend will be via the public footpath off the North Lodge drive. The main entry point to the event is at Southill. There will be signs to this effect. Dogs are permitted on leads as the site area is fenced off from the rest of the deer park"

All the signs - and the tickets - imply we've got to DRIVE to the car park.

Which is a real (and environmentally absurd) pain for many of us - and one we've spent years educating Wilderness isn't necessary.

Does anyone know if it's possible to walk in (with dogs) through the Park St entrance? Or are we going to have to spend more years explaining to the organisers you haven't got to be a petrolhead to like fish, food and dogs?

A good event at Cornbury with plenty going on to watch, try, buy, eat or drink - with kids activities too.
