Ticknell Piece playground

I have been told by the Town Council that the swings were reported to be unsafe, so they were taken away. A couple of the others parents that live on Ticknell Piece are putting together an action group. Would you or anyone else reading this be interested in joining? The playground and football pitch at Ticknell Piece and Centenary Wood are seriously overgrown the grass has not been cut for a long time and is too long. Also the swings at the playground appear to missing which leaves very little for the children to on. This is a well used park why is it so neglected ?
