Well done to everyone involved for a great night - being reminded of amazing films and stars. A lot of work so thanks to all.

Tickets are no longer on sale in the Post Office for this event, because we needed to order the fish and chips, but if you are still interested in coming and have not got a ticket, do contact Ed Fenton as we may be able to accommodate a few more.

I'm sure Ed will confirm with a news item, but we need people to buy their tickets for the Screen Test quiz as soon as possible. The numbers for the fish and chip supper have to be confirmed by Wed evening, so tickets must be purhcased by Wednesday afternoon. If you are sure you are comng but cannot get to the Post Office by tomorrow, please let Ed know and he can make arrangements to get you your ticket. Also let Ed know if you need a vegetarian alternative to fish and chips (a spicy beanburger and chips).
And you don't need a whole team to come - we have others we can match you up with on the night.

Yes, a lot of effort has gone into compiling the film clips, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them. Also great that whole families can enjoy this evening.

Incidentally, the theme of next Saturday's Screen Test quiz evening is 'Classic Hollywood' - so even if you're not feeling competitive, you can still come along and enjoy some of Hollywood's funniest and most beautiful moments from the 1940s right up to the present.

What a lot there is going on in Charlbury at the moment! The Events page on the website is packed with interesting things, so this is just to say that if you scroll down the Events page a bit, you'll find details of the CCCA's third Screen Test film quiz evening on Saturday 16 April, back by popular demand. This is a fun family-friendly event, with cash prizes. Teams can consist of up to six people, but smaller teams are welcome too - and since this is a quiz based on observation, not general knowledge, small teams aren't at a disadvantage. Tickets are now available from the Post Office - thanks!
