Noisy Bank Holiday building work

Sat 26 Mar 2016, 19:57 No I wouldn't allow them to use noisy machinery at a weekend or on a Bank holiday out of consideration for my neighbours. If they wanted to work as they were - like me - self-employed, I'd be delighted, but without creating noise that disturbed other people at a time many might expect peace and quiet. |

Sat 26 Mar 2016, 18:36 Maybe you would feel differently if this work was being done on your house? Self employed people don't have the luxury of paid bank holidays. They have to work to make their money. This is not obnoxious and selfish at all...if anything it's seems you are! |
