John, thanks *so* much for the heads up on this! My daughter and husband had an amazing time seeing the beautiful engine. Unfortunately I could not go as was unwell, but the photographs were spectacular! Hopefully next time!

Thankyou for the info John. What a fantastic sight, British Engineering/Craftmanship at its best! Other than the Train itself, the other amazing sight was all the people, of all ages, all with smiles on their faces, isn't it great how these wonderful sights/sounds/smells of yester-year cheer everyone up, those that can remember seeing these lovely machines in action, & others that usually only see them in pictures/old photos but can imagine what it was like to see the magnificent sight of a Steam Train rolling across the countryside! We should be proud of our heritage/history, when Britain was Great & was the Workshop of the World!

Thanks for the heads-up John! Looking forward to seeing it. Realtime trains shows it's departed half an hour late, and is expected to be in Charlbury 12:51-12:54, so looks like it's going to be quite a short stop now unfortunately.
