You are correct they are protected, and unlawful killing is prohibited. I believe you have to speak to the Wildlife Officer in local police or Council.

I'm just wondering if anyone on here is part of any form of wildlife trust or could point me in the right direction. As you may be aware they are planning on developing the field in Sturt close, however I know for a fact there are alot of slow worms that come into my garden off that field and they are i believe a protected species. I would appreciate any advice, thanks.
