Glena you can get a bag from the post office and I believe the next shredding date is sometime in May. Christine Elliot is the contact on this and always publicises the date in advance.

I believe Staples sell shredders from around £30. Some will enable you to shred credit and debit cards too!

Liz, Marion--thank you. Will take cards to M & S. No, I didn't mean Christmas tree shredding, I meant shreding of paper. I think one can fill a bag for £5 but don't know more than that.

If you mean Christmas tree shredding, the council is collecting them the week of January 25th. They can go in the green bins if they fit or of not then can be left at the side.

M&S in Witney are taking them during January, and giving at least £1 to a charity (forget which one!) for every 100 cards.

Does anyone know
a) If anywhere in Charlbury (or within easy reach) is collecting Christmas cards for charity ?
b) When the next shredding date is ?
