You can barely walk along the Stonesfield bridlepath right now let alone ride. Your surcharge won't cover it.

Of course we do Nigel. If you haven't got yours yet please come to my office in Sheep St and buy some straight away. £45 and bring cash as my card machine isn't working.
PS If you're going to ride along the bridleway to Stonesfield in the hours of darkness there is a £10 surcharge.

Do all cyclists have insurance?

Hi. It depends who is responsible for the accident or has been negligent. If the cyclist is at fault, their public liability insurer would ultimately pay. Their cover would either be attached to their contents insurance or they may have specific cycle insurance especially if they belong to a club which covers the bike and liabilities arising from its use. If the damage to your car is fairly severe you would normally put your claim through your car insurer who would then claim back from the cyclist if they are clearly liable and if successful you would also then recover your excess and no claims bonus. If there is any doubt over who is liable your insurer may not pursue. If anyone was injured it gets more complicated....(Matt Cardy)

What happens when a cyclist and a car collide and damage is caused to the car. Who is responsible for the cost of the damage ?
