I thought the Oyster Card was a form of covert surveillance - am I wrong?

I am still amazed how many people I queue up behind at Charlbury station who still buy their tube/dlr ticket with the mainline ticket. From 2nd January 2007, this could add £8 to your ticket. Most people go into London and stay within Zone 1. On Oyster this will cost you £1.50 for each journey. Buy it with the mainline will cost you a fortune. Order online via www.tfl.gov.uk and start saving. Having an Oyster card is also a big advantage if you have to buy a paper ticket on the train that is useless on the underground. I've had an Oyster Card on automatic top-up for over a year and I believe it has saved me and my employer over £150.00
