On Sunday 20th September the 25th Street Fair Fun Run will set off from The Playing Close at 10.30am.
Many will remember that this event was started by Dean Vincent, our esteemed former Pharmacist. When Dean left town, a small group of local runners picked up the organisation. This group is now 'on its last legs' and wants to 'pass the baton' to others.
Are there some new slightly younger bloods out there who might be willing to keep the event going? Steve Andrews and Geoff Griffiths are other main culprits. We have lots of local knowledge and bits of kit which can be passed on.
