John.
See www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/V13898/2015/08/22/advanced. It says "Timed for 125 mph max", "High Speed Train (HST125)". It also says Driver Only Operated, but this is obviously left over from the normal Turbo times and applied only as far as Oxford.

John how did you find out from RTT that it's an HST?

I do not know whether I am misunderstanding what I am reading, but Realtimetrains is showing the 2148 as running on Saturday 22nd August, but it has been amended to be an 8 coach HST instead of a Turbo arriving Charlbury at 2308. The 1950 from Paddington similarly becomes an 8 coach HST. These alterations are presumed to be required to get appropriate rolling stock to Worcester in readiness for Monday morning, if Sunday's strike goes ahead.

Regarding Sunday, FGW plans a roughly 3 hourly interval shuttle service between Oxford and Worcester S H or Moreton-in-Marsh if the strike cannot be avoided.

There's RMT strike action planned for the Sunday maybe this starts at midnight so the train wouldn't reach its terminus before the strike starts?

Anyone know why this train isn't running this Saturday coming?
Last one through to Charlbury appears to be the 19:50, although there Re quite a number after 19:50 going as far as Oxford?
