Thanks both. In fact 430 people voted which is an 18% turnout. The whole town council is up for re-election next May and the current councillors are considering how we can promote our work, candidates for council and some excitement around the election. Might be possible! Any ideas welcome (polite ones)

Please do vote!!!! Perhaps Miss Oxfordshire would come and do a meet and greet at the polling station at various points during the day! I for one, would love to meet her.

The caretakers Jane and Ian Parsons have cleverly taken a (well-deserved) holiday and as Chairman of the Corner House & Memorial Hall Committee it is my pleasure to unlock the Hall on Thursday at 6am and then lock it up at midnight. Do make it worth my while and turn out to vote for a new Town Councillor! Polling station open 7am-10pm.
