Anyone interested in Netball?

ref the netball nets, were given to the school as the football shed didn't have room to keep them when we had to call it a day. they were donated to us by a player and she was happy to allow the school to have them but they have had their use and are not safe to be used any more. The bibs went with another player that started up a team just for exercise at Finstock

There was a netball team, but it folded due to lack of commitment from the team, not lack of facilities. We raised enough money to have the hard courts marked out and even had our own posts and kit! Not sure where this all is now though. I would be interested to hear if a team is set up again

As work progresses on the design of the new Community Centre, we are working up our list of contacts for all sports in Charlbury. We have been told that there was a Netball Team that used to meet but that it failed because of lack of facilities. Once we've finished building the new centre, the faciities will be there to use, so if you were involved and want to get it going again or are interested in setting up a new Netball group please contact me through this site.
