If the railway station was the beginning of the development of the other side of the river, it had a hell of a long lead time - 150 years! And if you want to pull all the houses down built after 1900, please pay me market rate for mine and I will move somewhere at little more welcoming!

Absolutely, Leah. And, while we're about it, let's close the railway station: that was the beginning of the development the other side of the river, surely. Get rid of that and we solve part of the problem of commuters parking in the town centre.

Has anyone else noticed how nice it is walking round Charlbury without cars coming past?
