Gutter cleaning - scam?

This "knocker " was in Market Street on Monday . My OH found his approach aggressive and unsettling.

They have just been knocking on doors in Ticknell Piece too...beware!

I've just had a young man knock on my door offering to clean my gutters saying he had just been doing some work for a neighbour up the road. This is the way some door to door scammers operate. He may have been quite genuinely looking for work, but then again... I am sure that most readers of this forum are pretty savvy, but you might want to warn any of your neighbours who you think might be vulnerable.
