A warning for parents

Yesterday evening my four-year old daughter was bitten in the face by a
small dog with long grey hair tied up outside the Co-op supermarket.
Thankfully, her mouth stopped bleeding fairly soon and she should be fine.

She has met many friendly dogs in the town and I know the majority of
dog-owners are very responsible, but I thought parents should be aware
of this incident. It could have been much more serious and I wouldn't
want it to happen to anyone else, so please remind your children to keep
away from any dogs that are tied up as they could be dangerous.

Also, if anyone else happened to see this (just before 8pm) please could you send me a private message via the forum? Many thanks.
