If no joy in Charlbury, you could try www.freecycle.org. There is a group in Chipping Norton and in Witney or even Oxford.

Are there any railway buffs in Charlbury that might be interested in some old copies of 'Railway Magazine'? When I cleared out my late father's property I was left with a box full of these magazines, some dating back as far as 1939. They are in a variety of conditions, but I would prefer that they went to a good home rather than just get recycled as waste paper.
