Fri 28 Mar 2014, 09:42 Emily, Calum is back from Uni in a couple of days, don't know if it is any help but he could get you started. I can ask him for you if you like? |

Thu 27 Mar 2014, 14:19 Hi Alice, thanks for this. Unfortunately I can't get to Woodstock in the evenings otherwise it would have been ideal.

Thu 27 Mar 2014, 12:58 I know it's not in Charlbury, but there is an evening class running at Marlborough School in Woodstock for guitar beginners which is excellent (I did it myself!). I think the next class runs from September. It aims to be a general introduction to all sorts of genres so you can find out what's for you. |

Thu 27 Mar 2014, 11:22 I think it would help if you decided which style you would like to play. Folk/ Blues/ Pop/ Rock/ Funk/ Jazz/ Classical etc and then look for a teacher who specialises in that style. You can also find lots of great lessons on Youtube. |

Thu 27 Mar 2014, 09:00 I am looking for a guitar teacher local to Charlbury to give me a few initial lessons to start me off. Or maybe you yourself plays guitar and would be happy to give me some pointers? Any help would be much appreciated. |
