Last Saturday (5th Oct) I woke up to find that my (one week old) new car had a large scratch on the back caused by either a screwdriver or knife. As I had washed the car on Friday prior to leaving it on the drive way, it was evident that this was done at some point between 8pm on Friday evening and 9am on Saturday. Unfortunately, my drive is open to Pooles Lane and therefore to any passing little toerag who happens to be walking past and thinks that he/she will get 10 seconds of pleasure out of damaging someone's property.
This isn't the first time this type of mindless vandalism has taken place on Pooles Lane and is unlikely to throw up a culprit. However, whilst I have reported it to the police, I would be grateful if anyone has any information that I can pass on.
