The Beer Festival has made a financial contribution towards this project, so we look forward to seeing the results.

There's supposed to be a new 'large multi-unit with slide' (from an email to me by the Nine Acres committee in charge of the play area) coming 'any day now' (though the latter was written on 7th July). Apparently there will be further additions in due course if funds can be raised.

Does anyone know what is happening with the park? The swing bridge went a while ago (vandalism I understand), then the slide with the new pavilion, now we've lost the monkey bars, half the swings and the climbing net!
