At the end of the day Richard, sounds like a Pony Trap story (Cockney Rhymin')!?

No sherry, honest (not at that time in the afternoon)!

About half an hour after I posted, a rather shamefaced horse was being dragged back up the road in the other direction - though minus trap.

I've just seen, galloping past my window (corner of Nine Acres Close and Nine Acres Lane), a horse and trap - without rider, passenger or anything. At least I think so. It was going a bit too fast to see clearly, and no, it didn't appear to slow down for the speed bumps.

Anyone lost a horse?
