It seems to have been a noisy day all round. The church bells seemed to be ringing all day. Must have been a hell of a wedding!

So what was that motor noise that started at 7.45am on an otherwise peaceful sunny Bank Holiday morning?? Somewhere in Hixet Wood area the quiet birdsong was drowned out by some machine going for, luckily, only about half an hour, but long enough to waken properly and irritate. But I am over it now...!
