Another vote for Charlbury Garage. They have looked after my Audi 1.9 diesel (probably same type engine as yours) for some years now.

We have used Stonesfield and Grey Gables too for other cars in family, but Charlbury would be first choice for routine maintenance / MoTs. If you need some complicated diagnostic work or aircon servicing you might have to look to the others. Southcombe Garage opposite CNGC another option.

I tried the Skoda garage in Curbridge once, and wasn't impressed. I think you usually get a much better quality of service from a small concern like Charlbury garage.

We get our Land Rover Freelander serviced there...

Why not use the Skoda dealers at Grey Gables Garage, Bampton Road, Curbridge Tel01993 702609. Used them for years for our two Skodas. They will provide a courtesy car. Being agents they use genuine spares always in stock. No brainer really.

Stonesfield Garage is a family-run concern that I have found completely trustworthy and reasonably priced. They tend to specialise in VWs, but might well be willing to look after your Skoda.

Can anyone recommend a local garage (Witney/Chipping Norton ok)for trustworthy servicing, with a reasonable labour charge? I have an 11 year old, 1.9 litre diesel engine Skoda, so don't need anything flash!
