New housing development?

Over the past year some boys have been racing bicycles in the wood, and made a sort of circuit - no harm done there. However, during the past few months someone has been chopping trees down & making a sort of house in the trees. This culminated in quite a lot of logs & branches lying around. Someone must have set fire to the logs as there are now lots of ashes where they were - hence the fire engine, I suppose. Having spoken to our wonderful Councillor, Valou P-W, there is no new housing development in the offing, and the owners have probably put up the signs to avoid health & safety claims.

Don't know, but there was a fire engine there the other day/week sorting something out in there so maybe it's got something to do with that?

Unsigned 'Keep Out / Trespassers Will Be Prosecuted' notices have appeared at the entrances to the rough field between Woody Lane and Little Lees. Does anyone know whether these are simply directed at the children who like playing in the little wood, or whether they are connected with an intended new housing development, perhaps conditional on the relaxation of the planning laws?
