ChOC shows a film a month in the Memorial Hall, and choosing which films to show is quite a task.

We'd welcome your opinions of recent films you have seen, or would like to see: we measure success by the quality and interest of the film, not just the size of audience we get, but of course there is little point in showing films that hardly anyone wants to see...

At present the committee is assessing the following films, among others: 'The Source', 'Marley', and 'The Well-Digger's Daughter'. And we'll be taking a close look at the new 'Anna Karenina'.

Have you seen any of these? Or do you want to? Or do you have other suggestions of films that Charlbury would like?

Let's get a debate going!

Our next film, on Sunday October 14, is 'Moonrise Kingdom'. All ChOC events can be seen at www.chocfilms.info
