We thought it wise to announce that the event will still go ahead this Saturday even if the weather is bad. It's still set for The Playing Close but we will move it to the School if the forecast is horrible, and the format will remain the same. Please let everyone know!

• We will still be selling lots of food options such as hot dogs & burgers, pittas with dips & salads, hot drinks & cakes, Pimms & tins.
• Tina's Dance presents "Peter Pan" and there will be Breakdancing from Flaw R tists.
• There will be lots of traditional pocket-money games to try your hand at (quoits, coconut shy, penalty shoot-out, splat-a-rat, milk-the cow, lucky dip, to name just a few).
• There will be loads of good quality 2nd hand books, games and toys.
• We'll have several local trader stalls, selling lovely things at very reasonable prices.
• We'll also have face painting/tattoos/nail bar and a large bouncy castle.
• The first ever Playing Close Olympics will have fun races such as sack race, egg & spoon, 3-legged race etc, where it would be great to see the grown-ups joining in as much as the children!
• The Raffle will be called towards the end of proceedings and we've got some great prizes, so it'll be your last chance to buy tickets.

We are still looking for helpers on the day (set up / run a stall / take down), so please contact Julie Ward (01608 811292) if you can spare an hour or two. We'd also be grateful to sell any home-made cakes you'd like to bake and bring along.

We really hope to see you and your friends & family there, having fun and supporting the School.

Many thanks
Julie Ward,Charlbury School Association
