Bellringing on BBC 4

A new series about bellringing will start tonight on BBC 4 Still Ringing After All These Years: A Short History of Bells
If you like the sound of this why not come and join the bellringers at St Mary's. We practice every Wednesday at 8.00 pm and ring before the Sunday service. We cal always do with more ringers and our 'Tower Captain' Mike Summers will guide you through everything you need to know. If you are interested just call him on 01608-810639.
We are a very friendly group and practice nights always finish with a visit to the Rose and Crown. We have a set of bells from 1716 and a very nice ringing chamber - come along and see !
