This may sound really stupid, but I can understand the desperation of loosing not just a pet, but feeling like a family member. When I was a child, our golden retriever disappeared. To cut a long story short, our dog went inside the back of a horse box and the owners obviously didn't know she was ours, when they went back home. Eventually, after ringing police stations, etc, the dog was reported and found.

The moral of this story is, that Jezzie could be shut in a garden shed, garage, etc., without anyone knowing. Please check your sheds, garages, etc. This may be a long shot, but definitely worth checking. I really hope your precious dog is found?
