Sun 18 Oct, 14:46 (last edited on Sun 18 Oct, 14:49) Just to clarify, the Cricket Club fireworks are further away and don't seem to bother the horses here as much. The Watery Lane fireworks explode quite close to Spelsbury Road and, believe it or not, one of the horses kept throwing himself on the floor of his stable last year (even with a radio playing in the barn!). |

Sun 18 Oct, 13:39 Perhaps the money that people spend on the fireworks could be donated to charity instead, but still have the social side of the event like bonfire and bbq...... after all if you have a £20 note would really burn it just for fun? Not suggesting no fun just request consideration for all animals. |

Sun 18 Oct, 09:33 We had a note through our letterbox that there will also be fireworks in the Widdows' field above Watery Lane on Sunday, November 1st at 7pm. Last year we wrote to the contact given at Enstone YF to ask that they please be moved this year after our animals were severely distressed but did not get a response.
