Another hedgehog casualty

Also another one killed by a car last night/this morning on Sturt Road near Fiveways.

Found adult hedgehog under a hedge in Chartwell Drive this morning. Seems likely it had been hit by a car and crawled away to die.

Very sad as I think it is the hedgehog who has been visiting our garden in the Green since late in July. We gave it food and water to help it survive the drought. It did not visit the last two nights. We will miss him/her very much.
