My mum was visited by the Police . Same thing has happened in the Ditchley Road.

Community Police called this afternoon to alert me to a burglary that took place in the neighbourhood yesterday night. I was told that there has been a spate of local burglaries, including ones in Charlbury, Chadlington and other nearby villages and towns.

Thieves seem to be particularly interested in houses which look empty and where the owner seems to be out or away. The advice was to check locks etc., and to ask neighbours to check on one's home if going away.
