Tue 15 Sep, 09:40 (last edited on Tue 15 Sep, 09:41) A small grief support group – starting 6th October (mostly online) I'm getting together a tiny, online grief support group, with room for a couple more people. So far we're all local – and if that remains the case, I'll likely bring part of it into my therapy studio here in Charlbury, rather than purely on Zoom. It will apply just as much to divorce, estrangement, chronic illness and other life transitions as to bereavement. Practitioners, and anyone who supports others through grief, will find it just as helpful. We'll meet every Tuesday at 7pm from 6th October, for eight weeks, with a follow-up session in December. Limited to six people. If the idea of a group feels remotely daunting, much of the deeper work takes place in pairs or threes within it. There's a little reading and a short task between sessions – this isn't only a space to talk, though there's plenty of that too, but a structured, evidence-based method for actually working through loss. It's the most practical, sensitive and profound piece of grief education I've come across. More about my background in this work on the link below. There's a partial bursary place for anyone who needs it – just ask. More info: https://griefisnatural.com/events/grief-support-group-online-2026 Or email: jess@jessgoyder.com |
