Mon 31 Aug, 15:41 (last edited on Mon 31 Aug, 17:23) I took the timetable links from the Charlbury news website, info posted by Lisa Wilkinson. https://www.charlbury.info/news/5144 on 27th August as these links get hard to find once the month is over. But Carousel is also being rebranded Go Thames Valley. See here. I have to say I also find it very confusing, but the X9 has disappeared from the Pulham's website. I'm also not delighted with being linked to a bus firm which is focused so much on the Thames Valley area, and not to the Cotswolds or anywhere to the north of the county, but I'm guessing it is a consequence of the forthcoming reorganisation of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire County Councils. |

Mon 31 Aug, 12:59 (last edited on Mon 31 Aug, 13:03) The temporary timetable, whilst Fawler Rd is closed, under the new operator (Carousel Buses) is here. When Fawler Roads re-opens, the new (hourly) Carousel Buses timetable is here. We are now part of the Carousel Buses CountryZone which is huge, stretching down to Reading, Swindon and Lechlade, but needing to pay extra to travel in the Oxford City Zone or to Burford and Cheltenham. The map is here. Carousel Buses has its own app available via Google Play Store and Apple, and tickets bought via the app are cheaper and cover the whole zone. The Oxford Bus app also shows local services. Pulhams no longer runs the X9, but still run buses through Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, including the 801 from Chipping Norton through Burton on the Water to Cheltenham. For timetables and fares see here. |

Sun 30 Aug, 20:15 No, Simon. Charlbury Crossroads seems to mean the Enstone Crossroads but on 9 Acres Lane, heading towards Chipping Norton, at least according to their map. You need Charlbury Sturt Close (opp) or Charlbury Fiveways if heading towards Witney. |

Sun 30 Aug, 19:08 Aha. Thanks. Is Fiveways what they mean by "Charlbury Crossroads"? (Not Enstone Road crossroads?) |
