What next for action on climate and nature?

For those of you who like reminders here on the forum, today 7pm at the Mem Hall, we meet to discuss the ideas that came up from the Public Emergency Briefing and the conversation with Sean Woodcock.

What would you like to see happen? What might you want to get involved in? What do we need the town, district or county council’s help with?

With ever hotter and drier summers followed by wetter and stormier winters, how do we look after ourselves, our community and wildlife in ways that protect our homes, our health, our livelihoods and the future for young people? Come along to the launch of the new SusCha Climate Action Neighbourhood (CAN) on Friday 11 September (Memorial Hall, 7pm) to hear about some of the priorities voiced by audiences at the two Charlbury screenings of the People’s Emergency Briefing, and the lively meeting with our MP Sean Woodcock on 14 August. It’s a chance to come together as a neighbourhood, begin to take practical steps, and make Charlbury a beacon for what local communities can do to build resilience – because if any place can, Charlbury CAN!
