Fire on Mill Field & fallen tree

I came across the fire and called the fire brigade who attended from Chipping Norton station in rapid time. Cause of fire was inconclusive so let’s not jump to conclusions.

At least the children were playing outside Rod, instead stuck inside on their phones.

There was a fire at the top of Mill Field yesterday evening, put out by the fire brigade - but preceded by some children screaming loudly at each other.  Draw your own conclusions.  Worth keeping an eye out if you're walking the dog etc....

And a large willow has fallen over on the Cornbury bank, just below the confluence with the mill stream.  Cornbury informed but like 'Lorraine' (below) a few days ago, no reply to emails and a recorded message telling you to email them when you call - brilliant.
