Charlbury Garage Sale!

Charlbury Pre-School is delighted to be organising it’s inaugural Charlbury Garage Sale on Sunday 6 September, 2–5pm – and we'd love you to be part of it.

It's a simple way to have a clear out, make some extra money and help create a fun community event, all while supporting a fantastic local cause.

How it works:

• Register your sale for £12.

• We'll include your address on the printed and online garage sale maps.

• You host your sale from your own driveway or garden while bargain hunters make their way around the town.

We need a minimum of 20 households to sign up for the event to go ahead. If you're planning to take part, please don't delay registering – early sign-ups will give us the confidence to press ahead and start promoting the event widely.

Better still, encourage your neighbours to sign up too. Clusters of garage sales on the same street are much more attractive to visitors, creating more footfall and giving everyone a better chance of making sales!

Charlbury Pre-School is a local charity and, like many early years settings, we're facing significant financial pressures. Government funding simply doesn't cover the true cost of delivering high-quality childcare, while our rent, building maintenance and employer costs continue to increase. Fundraising events like this help bridge that gap and ensure we can continue providing an outstanding start for local children.

Whether you're clearing out toys, books, clothes, plants or household bits (no electrical items please), we'd love to have you involved and help make this a brilliant new Charlbury tradition.
