Yes last year they were only available on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and not on Thursday. Does anyone know how much the adult residents day tickets cost?

I already have a day ticket for Sunday (bought via the Community Centre), and it says entrance Red Gate, but parking there is too far for me to walk to the arena (and I don't qualify for a disability pass).

So I phoned the Residents' Line yesterday, and asked about whether I could walk in via the Yellow Gate (the Cornbury Park gate).

I was told this would be possible, and that local Day Tickets would be available to buy at that gate on the Saturday. Online it also says day tickets are available for locals on the Friday -- NB not on the Thursday.

Ah interesting, I'm waiting for someone for the Residents line to come back to me as they weren't too sure either. I'll update when they do.

Thanks for posting Katie. It’s said on the Wilderness site for ages that there will be local day tickets available at the gate, but it does only mention Saturday and Sunday, so perhaps it’s dependent on the day? If anyone has any update on this, I’ll be glad if they could post as I’m hoping to get a day one for Sunday.

At the moment, it's not possible to buy local day tickets at the Cornbury gate. Staff at the box office say that Ticketmaster is the only way to buy local tickets and none will be available at the gate. I've asked them to double check this, but if you were planning to head down there for a day ticket, you might want to save yourself the walk!
