Thu 6 Aug, 16:30 (last edited on Thu 6 Aug, 16:31) Thanks Kate. There is a follow-up meeting on Friday 11th September in the Friends Meeting House at 7pm. This will be an opportunity to share and discuss findings/reports from the People's Emergency Briefing screenings and the outcomes from the meeting with Sean Woodcock. I hope you can make that meeting, but let me know if not and we can work out a way to share the information. |

Thu 6 Aug, 09:56 For those of us who can't get to that meeting, could you please post a summary of the discussion here afterwards? I'd be very interested to hear what he has to say and if it is anything more than the party line.. |

Wed 5 Aug, 16:13 Hey all, due to the security issues MPs face these days, we understand we can only share the location with you directly rather than have it advertised on charlbury.info. So if you wish to join 1. You can ask around - we are mentioning it to people we know are interested 2. you can message Tim Crisp directly here on the forum (see message below) 3. we will email those who were registered for the People’s Emergency Briefing on the day 4 Or you can join this WhatsApp group and we will ping the location on the day: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JjElhj49dQr7RTSDEvjBv2?s=cl&p=i&mlu=4 Do message here if none of those work for you or someone you know, and we will try and think of another solution!!! |

Tue 28 Jul, 16:15 I look forward to hearing the Rt Hon member sharing his thoughts, especially having been relatively recently quoted in the Daily Mail in the context building houses outside the towns limit on ancient woodland. His conservation insights around how converting woods into homes protects nature will be most welcome. |

Tue 28 Jul, 11:23 (last edited on Wed 29 Jul, 20:55) Thanks to so many of us writing to our MP, Sean Woodcock, about the climate & nature crises after our screening of the People's Emergency Briefing, he is coming to discuss our concerns with us. 5pm on 14th August. We will share a means to get location soon. Someone will also get it up as an event in the next day or so. We are hoping lots of the community can come and discuss with him how our ideas for local climate action & nature restoration can be supported and enabled by government policy and financing. |
