Visiting dog at Hanover Close

On Friday evening from about 2100 a dog came onto Hanover Close from the Dancers Hill direction, stayed a little while (we offered some water as it looked heated and thirsty, and I wanted to check for a collar), wandered around for a while and then went back in the same direction.  Medium size, quite skinny, looked as if assembled from a kit of parts (spotted feet very distinctive).  I hope it found its way home OK.
