The WODC garden collections are highly recommended, and the annual payment is from April to April, so still worthwhile.

However, there's also Garden Clearance Chipping Norton if you can't wait for the delivery of garden bins from WODC, and don't want to to load skips yourself or take the green waste all the way to Dix Pit at Stanton Harcourt (pre-booking required).

There's is currently a tip at Shipston-on-Stour in Warwickshire that needs no pre-booking, but has restrictions on what vehicles can use it, and warnings about the best times to visit given the current overcrowding. For some in Charlbury this is the nearest waste site. For further information see here.

Hello Elysia, there are various options. You could ask West Oxfordshire District Council

for one or more green waste bins. These cost £52.50 each for a year and are emptied fortnightly. There are various skip hire companies including K. Millard. Skips come in various sizes but you need to fill them yourself. This company www.https:clearanceandcleanup.co.uk offer to load and remove garden waste. I haven’t used them personally. It might be worth asking the Charlbury Mowing Boys if this is something they might do. Enjoy your new garden!

Hi,

We have recently moved and are clearing a very overgrown garden. Does anyone have recommendations for a local company that will remove the waste?

Thank you

Elysia
