Fri 19 Jun, 09:36 I rung the Estate, explained the problem and sent them some pictures. They promised to put it on their list of things to do. |

Tue 16 Jun, 16:56 I'm talking about the other side of the river. Between the river and the station road .... |

Tue 16 Jun, 16:37 (last edited on Tue 16 Jun, 16:40) I am pretty sure that none of the land on the way down to the station belongs to Cornbury. It belongs to home owners on Dyers Hill or on Church Lane. Highways can write to home owners asking them to cut back the vegetation and I can ask for that to be done, unless people read this and do it anyway. |

Tue 16 Jun, 12:41 So I think that's the Cornbury Estate is it? Should I send them a request to cut overhanging vegetation back from the footpath and an increasing bank growing over the pavement? If so, how? |

Mon 15 Jun, 13:56 Overhanging trees or hedges are the responsibility of the landowner. I think in the past the town council has tidied up the grass on the road side of the fence |

Sun 14 Jun, 13:57 This pavement is too narrow for two people to pass and one of them has to step into a dangerous road when they meet. Now the hedge is so wide and the bank so overgrown that it is barely passable for one person especially with a suitcase or a baby buggy. This applies to the stretch of pavement between the station access road and the river bridge. Is it the landowner or the pavement owner who is supposed to maintain it? |
