Despite Stagecoach in Perth knowing nothing of disruption here in Charlbury, Enstone Road is closed and the 10.13 service to Oxford was unable to get through to the Bell. The driver had been given no advance information and had to make his own arrangements - presumably turning at the Nine Acres Close/Lane junction and returning along the Slade to Oxford.

I've just spoken to Stagecoach HQ in Perth, on 0345 241 8000 as the 01865 772250 phone number no longer works. I was told that they have no notifications of disruption/diversion in Charlbury and that all earlier services this morning operated to time. Hope that helps.

There is no notice of a temporary change of bus services for either the X9 or S3 buses travelling through Charlbury on the Stagecoach, Pulhams and also the Oxford Bus Company websites.

Please could somebody let us know what timetable changes might be expected -- and also presumably let the bus companies know what routes the buses are going to be following!

And, yes, Stephen is right. At least one of the yellow boards giving the dates of the roadworks is wrong, and needs removing! It's confusing enough without false signs!

The whole situation and who is in charge is a complete mystery. The dates on the yellow boards are incorrect; who is doing what and when ........????Does the Town Council know.

The map of the roadworks is here but you will need to sign in to see it.

But, to me at least, the map is very difficult to understand! Openreach and Thames Water both seem to be working near the crossroads at the same time.

I am also interested to know where the buses will be stopping!

Does anyone have any details of the road closures around the Enstone Road junction next week? For example which roads and when.

Thanks in advance
