Thu 21 May, 16:27 Don’t forget that calls from Out of Hours (111) and other medical services will show as ‘unknown number’. If we cannot get a reply we will be making an emergency home welfare visit ! My mother is 93 and a target for scammers on a daily basis so I understand why people have call screening. Sad that most of her phone calls are from criminals. |

Wed 20 May, 13:17 I now have call screening on my mobile and landline. Bliss! For landlines: Block nuisance calls on your landline for free by first registering your phone number with the Telephone Preference Service. Next, activate your provider's complimentary call-blocking service, such as BT Call Protect or TalkTalk CallSafe. Finally, enable free Caller Display so you can view who is calling before answering. |
