Fri 10 Apr, 05:54 I think the signs are clear. Unfortunately, you will always get drivers who just don't pay attention while driving or activity chose to ignore them. I used to see a Bakery van most mornings going the wrong way in Browns Lane.I can only assume it made sense to him as it made his route a bit shorter? I also regularly meet cars driving the wrong way up Sheep Street. I will always stop and have a chat to let them know. What I think is worse is the locals who regularly cycle the wrong way on these roads. There are no excuses when you know your breaking the law. |

Fri 10 Apr, 05:29 This week I met a car coming the wrong way up Brown's Lane towards the Coop, when I was travelling down. Is the no-entry sign near the Bull/Cornerhouse visible/clear enough? The area of the road by the Bull car park/Memorial Hall is often congested with delivery/builders vans, with buses an additional issue at certain times, so an accident could easily have happened - luckily on this occasion, it didn't.
