Mon 6 Apr, 10:54 I found it really difficult to find somewhere to recycle these before I moved. I went to the Dunelm in Banbury and they had a large container for any bedding (including duvets and pillows). The requirements were that they had to be bagged and the staff said that often the container was full (probably because it’s difficult to find anywhere else!). This was in September so perhaps the rules have changed. |

Sun 5 Apr, 19:23 If you're recycling rather than donating just put it in a bag on the kerbside recycling collection day. |

Sat 4 Apr, 13:04 Helen & Douglas House will accept some of these items, although, as Christine points out, maybe not pillows, for hygiene reasons. Worth a call. |

Sat 4 Apr, 12:57 Phone Emmaus, Oxford, as I think many of their branches accept good quality and clean linens etc for the homeless. I doubt they will take pillows, however. |

Sat 4 Apr, 12:22 Does anyone know anywhere that takes second hand bedding to repurpose/recycle locally? We have some old pillows/sheets/duvet covers no longer needed and would rather not take to the tip if there’s somewhere they can go instead! |
