We had our 8th meeting on Friday, 27th March, and welcomed another new member.

We all agreed that meeting on a Friday at 4.00 pm wasn't "user-friendly" and decided to have future meetings on the last Wednesday of each month at 7.00 pm.

The Charlbury Community Workshop (CCW) continues to support us by providing a space free of charge, and complimentary tea and biscuits.  We are very grateful for it, as it means that we do not charge a membership fee.

We are an informal group with no Constitution.  We sometimes have an interesting speaker, but the main "business" is to meet others and make connections.  The CCW is affiliated with the national UK Men's Shed Association (UKMSA), which is a government-recognised, dynamic body.  The UKMSA has been officially recognised as a force for good in helping to counter feelings of isolation and depression, which are sadly still too prevalent among the male population.

We are not a "naval-gazing" outfit, but it's a great space for meeting friendly people. and making new connections, and also simply to look at the facilities that the CCW has to offer.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday, 29th April @7.00 pm in the CCW.  If you are interested in simply seeing what we get up to (there is no obligation to commit to regular meetings), please DM me via this website by clicking on my name.
