Hi Simon, I think Railway Herald might have got it wrong. Looking at  A1SLT website Tornado is just emerging from winter maintenance and won't be 'out and about' until 10th April at East Lancs.  In the meantime Flying Scotsman has been active at Mid Hants until yesterday. However, nobody should expect anything too splendid tomorrow.

According to Railway Herald, it's 60163 Tornado, not Flying Scotsman, being towed from Alton in Hampshire to Kings Norton in Birmingham.

A Charlbury friend has just emailed me from Switzerland to say that the steam locomotive Flying Scotsman will pass through Charlbury tomorrow, Monday 23rd. I don't know if it will be 'working' or being hauled along with empty carriages. Should be at the station between 13.08 and 13.16.
