My dad (Ken Fawdrey ) one if the many who built this facility and who also designed and made the railings would have been extremely impressed by Dyllans achievement- Welldone Dylan!!

Do have a look at Jackie Hagues's News item today (20 March) about a young Charlbury bowler selected to captain an England Under 21s team.

The Bowls Club members have been proactive in promoting their sport (outdoors and indoors) to young people - with great success, as is evidenced by Dyllan England - and others.    

Wonderful volunteer coaches from the Club also run free "Bowled Over" sessions on the third Monday of every month at 2.30 p.m. especially for people with memory and thinking problems and their family and friends. These are greatly enjoyed by participants from Charlbury and the surrounding area.  I can provide further details if you know of anyone who might like to have a go.

Thanks to everyone in the Club who put time and effort into managing and maintaining this facility for the town.
