From May - October for the last two years Charlbury volunteers have been selling sourdough bread, savoury tarts and sweet pastries on Saturday mornings, outside the Community Centre. They have given their profits to local charities and clubs.

In 2025 £600 was given to each of 6 organisations and £260 to Cornerstone. 3,860 altogether over 6 months: Charlbury Scout hut, Pre school, Cornerstone, The Shed, Charlbury Refugee Action Group, HIFA, Chippy Larder.

We’d like to do it again from 2 May but need more volunteers to help from 8.30 -10 am.

Last year a Duke of Edinburgh pupil regularly helped and it would be great to find a young person on that scheme to help again. In addition, anyone who’d like to help make this project another success in 2026, please message Angela.
